Microsoft Office 2007 has turned me, a knowledgable and agile geek, into an end user. I used to be able to at least fumble around until I found some features, but now I'm utterly lost and am very dissatisfied with Office 2007.
There are a couple phrases you should be familiar with to understand and get along better with your geeky friends.
One phrase is End User. This is a harmless label applied to the end user of an application developed by a developer. This isn't explicitly a derogatory label per se, but it does come with some basic assumptions, like, that the end user is more prone to make illogical mistakes or that the end user will not immediately figure out how something works to get it to work without calling for help.
Another phrase is Microsoft sucks. I don't like the word "sucks" in this context, but it is a common word used to convey general lack of value in the world and that the noun being described has superior alternatives including, in some cases, just not using anything at all. Now, I'm not wholly against Microsoft, and I believe they have brought a lot of good products and services to the world. However, the phrase is what it is for a reason, and I'll leave it at that.
Over time, Microsoft has been pumping out very complicated software for the masses to use and consume, and overall, it has enabled a lot of non-techies ("end users") to achieve a lot of productivity. Most times, I enjoy a good upgrade experience: new features, new functionality, new look-and-feel. However, recently I began using the new Microslop Office 2007, and I have got to say: Microsoft, you have really done it this time.. You have completely and utterly mutated the mostly unchanged and predictable user interface from the usable, albeit cluttered, stack of features that it was into a completely unusable, albeit organized, brand spankin' new, unintuitive entity.
To be brief, Office 2007 has turned me, a knowledgable and agile geek, into an end user. I am completely and utterly lost.
Nice work M$-- ya really mucked up on this release.

So here I am, pushing against deadlines, pushing to staging, preparing to push this ginormous update to a production, and I notice that my roles are no longer being honored at staging in this View! *yikes* I'm going to propose using hook_perm to define some appropriate role permissions instead of "multiple roles" under Views Access. Microsoft Office 2007 has turned me into an End User
The beta was updated on September 14, 2006 in Beta 2 Technical Refresh (Beta2TR). It included an updated user interface, better accessibility support, improvements in the robustness of the platform, and greater functionality.
The idea of "distributions"
The idea of "distributions" doesn't appeal very much to me, at least if I am not sure that after installing that distribution I still have a standard Drupal installation with which i can do whatever I like. This is why I have never considered Open Publish or Tattler, at least not for flexible projects that need customization. Perhaps if I had one specific project (like an online journal) and I found a perfect distribution for my project I would use it, but not as a customizable solution for a varied community...70-291 dumps|| 70-293 dumps|| 70-294 dumps|| 70-401 free dumps|| 70-432 dumps|| 70-433 free dumps|| 70-448 dumps|| 70-450 dumps||
